Narayan Ramachandran, (Associate Director)

Experience:
Narayan Ramachandran is the Country Head of Morgan Stanley in India. Narayan moved to India as CEO of MSIM and prior to this, he was the Head and co-lead portfolio manager of Morgan Stanley’s Global Emerging Markets and Global Asset Allocation teams. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1996 and has 20 years of investment experience.

Before joining the firm, he was a managing director at Rogers Casey (now CRA Rogers Casey). In addition, Narayan was director of research at Rogers Casey and president of its investment advisory subsidiary. Previously, he was a research associate at Goldman Sachs.

Narayan has written articles for the academic and trade press, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. He received a B.S. in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. Narayan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is a director of Impax Corporation and Dyansys Inc.

Joseph Clifford D’Souza, (Associate Director)
Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer

Experience:
Joseph Clifford D’Souza joined Morgan Stanley Investment Management in December 1993 as Operations Manager. Clifford was appointed as Vice-President and Head of Operations in December 1997 and was promoted to Executive Director in December 2000. In June 2005, Clifford was appointed Chief Operations Officer of MSIM Mumbai. Clifford has over 20 years of experience in the Investment Management Industry.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Clifford was a Deputy Manger at Unit Trust of India Investment Advisory Services Limited– a subsidiary of the Unit Trust of India – the largest public sector Mutual Fund in India. He was responsible for the Operations and Fund Administration functions for the India Growth Fund Inc (listed on NYSE) and the India Fund (listed on Dublin) – both offshore funds investing in India.

Clifford graduated from the Bombay University with a Master of Commerce Degree in 1984.

Anthony Heredia,

Anthony joined Morgan Stanley Investment Management Private Limited as Head of Sales and Marketing in February 2007.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he worked for HSBC Asset Management (India) Private Limited as Head of Sales and Distribution from December 2001 to February 2007 and in Birla SunLife Asset Management Company as Assistant Vice President - Business Development from October 1995 to November 2001. He has over 10 years experience in sales and distribution.

Sridhar joined Morgan Stanley Investment Management Private Limited in 1994. He has been working with the Investment Team since 1995. Subsequently, in 2004 he was appointed as the Portfolio Manager of Morgan Stanley Growth Fund. He has over 13 years of investment experience.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he worked with Citibank N.A. as Assistant Manager from October 1992 to March 1994 and with ANZ Grindlays Bank as an Industrial Trainee from April 1991 to September 1992.

Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research, Mumbai and B.Com (Hons.) from University of Calcutta.
